QuickSilverHair Clay Instructions:
Mix in a small bowl
Two to three tablespoons of clay (+/- depending on the length of your hair) with oil and enough conditioner to make a smooth mix it should feel a little bit like frosting.
Apply to Wet Hair after using clarifying shampoo. Leave on for the remainder of your shower or put a shower cap on and leave on for a deeper brightening and clarifying for up to 40 minutes. Do NOT use heat with the mask, no dryers or heat wraps needed, it will dry the clay out.
Increase or decrease proportions for longer or shorter hair.
You should be able to safely use the mask twice a week. How often you use it is up to you, but I advise at least once a month depending on how yellow or dingy your grays get.
Alternate uses: face masks mixed with coconut oil and water but thicker, and you can add three tablespoons to a hot bath to help detoxify your skin.
What you need:
- 2 Tablespoons/about a capful of clay*
- 3-4 pumps of QuickSilverHair Oil or 1 dropper full of Argan oil.
- A shower cap
- Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner**
(I like Acure**, the best clarifying products I have ever found.)
What you can expect:
You should, at the very least, expect really clean hair, free of impurities and build up once you have washed the oils out. I did notice that my hair was brighter, shinier, and softer. My white hair has a natural yellowish tint to it, as my original natural color was brown, so I cannot expect snow-white results. I can make no guarantee that the clay will whiten your hair; this is an all-natural product and contains no stripping or bleaching agents. Many customers are showing much brighter, cleaner and softer hair.
Caution: This product does contain Bergamot which is phototoxic, that means you should never leave the clay on your hair or skin and go out into the sun as it can cause a sunburn like reaction. While this product contains a very small amount I want you to be safe.
