What I Use on My Silver Hair
These are the products I reach for most often in my daily silver hair routine. After decades of testing formulations on my own curls and silvers, and analyzing ingredients, I’ve narrowed down what actually works for maintaining healthy, beautiful silver hair. This is my hair type. I use products that work for most hair types; however, choose your products accordingly, especially if you have coarse hair or a stronger curl pattern.

Seen Deeper Conditioner
The Deeper Conditioner (not a deep conditioner) is perfect for curly hair or dryer gray hair. I use less of it than their regular conditioner so it became my favorite. Both are great products that condition without weighing your hair down.
Seen Leave-In
Seen leave-in and style creams all have UV and Heat protection, so you start off on the right foot immediately. I use this on my crown for UV protection and to help prevent breakage and frizz. I find that these products work well for most hair types because they have a product for every hair type.
Seen Face Wash
Seen face wash, is gentle cleansing that doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry and stripped. Fragrance-free too. This is the only facial cleanser I use.
Bounce Curl Moisture Balance Leave-In Conditioner w/ UV Protection
Looking for curly leave-in that also offers UV protection…this is always in my shower. It is very concentrated so a small amount goes a very long way. My curls are far more reliable when I use this on the regular.
Loma Firm Hold Gel
This is it, after trying 100 (not even exaggerating) hair gels, this is the one that I can get reliable hold from every-time. I haven’t found a single one that works as well.
Loma Nourishing Oil
When I need a little silicone, strategically placed, to finish my curly routine and protect it from humidity, add shine, and smooth out frizz this is what I reach for to scrunch-out-the-crunch. Never fails.
Loma Violet Conditioner
If and when I need a little toning…this is the violet conditioner I reach for. It is a rich dark pigment, it feels like a deep conditioning mask, and it is one of the only purple products that has ever worked on my dye-resistant low porosity hair.
AquaBliss Heavy Duty Shower Filter
With hard water that fights back, this is my first-step to help eliminate the larger minerals from attaching to my hair. Great for chlorine too if you live in the city. My hair and my skin thank me for this filter.

Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two
When I need a clarifying shampoo, I need it for product buildup and mineral buildup from my hard water…this is my new favorite! It is a classic old-school formula that works very well on both issues. Leaving my hair clean and refreshed.
Mielle Organics Babassu & Mint Deep Conditioner
This deep conditioner is a favorite, with babassu oil that works well for lower porosity hair types, and contains smaller proteins to strengthen without buildup. It blends fantastically with the QuickSilverHair Clay, making an amazing deep clarifying and conditioning mask all-in-one.
Cotton Tee Towel by Elizabeth Roberts
For my low porosity hair, it takes up to 4 hours or more to airdry, so a cotton towel helps cut the dry time. This towel is double tee shirt material and works great.
